No! Clean, pure and effective, NuHemp Botanicals will leave your pet’s hair healthy, shiny and bright – never stripped – without the use of harsh, synthetic chemicals.

They smell fantastic, why?
We use only the finest human-grade ingredients in all of our Botanical formulations.  In fact, the majority of the botanical oils are hand crushed, blended and extracted at our manufacturing facility and freshly added to our products.  Our Botanical grooming products are manufactured in a high-end cosmetic facility that typically only produces natural, holistic based human grooming products for professional and spa use!  Ok, so now we have told you 2 secrets!  

I notice the shampoos do not foam / lather like other commercial shampoos I have used, why?
The NuHemp Omega Pet Shampoos are enriched with a saponified natural coconut oil that produces a rich and creamy lather as opposed to a frothy airy foam.  It is this rich lather that gives the coat a healthy lustrous shine as well as a fresh and clean appearance.
A common misconception is that if a shampoo doesn’t produce a lot of foam, then it is not able to clean as well as one that is loaded with bubbles.  Synthetic foam boosters are often added to inexpensive shampoo formulas to give the appearance that it is loaded with healthy cleaning ingredients.  This is simply not true.  The more foam booster that is added to a product can actually do more harm that good.  Commonly, the extra boost will strip the coat of too much of the essential body oils that are required to insulate and protect the animal’s skin, often resulting in a light dandruff, itchiness and induced skin sensitivities.

Does Omega Zapp really remove strong odors like Skunk? I have been fooled before with other products.
Yes!  In fact Animal Wellness Magazine conducted a test to see just how good strong odor removing shampoos actually performed when put to the test of removing skunk odor (April/May ’07 issue – Raising A Stink).  Our Omega Zapp went up against the leading, well-known shampoo brands and was chosen by Animal Wellness as the hands down winner, no other shampoo was more effective!

We travel a lot with our pets; can we wash them in our lake?
Yes!  All of our NuHmp Botanical shampoos and conditioners are 100% environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

What happens if I get the shampoos or conditioners in my pet’s eyes?
Given we do not use any harsh synthetic chemicals; merely wash/rinse out the affected area with water without fear of harm.

Do you make any of the Botanicals in a concentrate for the professional groomer?
Yes!  Almost all of our products are available in a 4 litre (1 gallon) concentrate for professional use.  These products are called NuHemp Botanical Pro series.
