KicX Nutrition Inc. is a privately owned and managed Canadian company located in Guelph Ontario, approximately one-hour west of Toronto. Since we started the company back in 1998 we have evolved, expanded and grown by great strides of which our NuHemp™ brand is merely one example. Doug Daymond
President & Founder
Having founded the company in 1998, Doug leads the KicX team with 25+ years as a sales/merchandising and marketing executive in the natural health, packaged goods, consumer electronics and toy industries. Doug has guided KicX to the forefront of the global natural health and wellness industry with his dedication to customer service, innovative business solutions, and extensive experience in the packaged goods industry. His keen business acumen is enhanced by his management expertise in turning new market categories into viable mainstream markets. His complementary marketing savvy and practical experience gives him the unique ability to lead KicX into exciting new ventures and territories that will result.
While guiding the KicX team, Doug focuses on and is directly responsible for managing NuHemp’s US and International market expansion.
His four-legged companion Harley is a pure-bred German Sheppard who aside from being his shadow in and out of the office also acts as our official product tester!

Larry Hook
Vice President and General Manager
Larry brings a wealth of sales and general management expertise, built on his cross-functional experience and over 25 years in the consumer products industry.As the manager of our Canadian distributors and retailers, Larry works behind the scenes to ensure NuHemp makes it to your home.
He enjoys spending time with his,Westie Terrier & Poodle mix, named Cashew who he adopted from a rescue organization.

Andrea Demelo
Business & Office Manager
As the primary customer service contact, Andrea is the "voice" of NuHemp. With over 10 years of experience in the Natural Foods industry she brings a wealth of product knowledge. Andrea is directly responsible for coordinating & facilitating the production of the NuHemp products and sourcing of the ingredients for our varied offerings.
Along with her product knowledge, she has been a pet owner all her life - at various stages offering a home to dogs, cats, mice, rabbits, chipmunks, hamsters, birds, turtles, lizards and fish. Her current companion is Samson, a high spirited boxer. One of her first jobs was working as a veterinary assistant.

Trevor Ottley
Marketing & Promotions Manager
Trevor is the creative mind at NuHemp, developing new packaging, advertising & marketing material and educational documents and media. He also manages NuHemp's online presence.
He has never been without pets in his life, whether they be cats or dogs, fish, hamsters, birds and even a baby racoon that got lost on its way home! He currently shares his home with a tabby cat named The Dude.
